Gridlock or Growth? Congestion Management Study
CONGESTION DEBATE IS ENCOURAGED
The congestion management report is not a blueprint, but it does make a significant step forward in setting out the evidence about present and future traffic movements and their impact on economic, social and environmental issues. The Metropolitan Authorities and Centro-PTA will now engage in further dialogue with the people of the city region on the issues the report raises.
The report states that before any decisions are taken, more work needs to be done on the details of infrastructure packages and outline business cases together with further surveys of businesses and residents.
The West Midlands Transport Innovation Fund Project team welcome views before 30th December.
