8.7 LTP in combination with other plans
Themajor area where cumulative effects with other plans may arise relates todevelopment that is proposed in the West Midlands Regional Spatial Strategy. Thiswill include growth arising from Birmingham “Going for Growth”, the BlackCountry Study, and the Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire Sub-regional Study. This growthwill impact across all the SEA topics, but in light of this assessment, themajor cumulative impacts will be on landscape and greenhouse gas emissions.
Another area where cumulative impacts with other plans may arise relatesto greenhouse gas emissions resulting from any future expansion of Birmingham International Airport.
