The Programme
Figure 1 ‘Summary Programme LTP2’ summarises our LTP2 programme in two sections:
- Fully and provisionally approved Major Schemes, together with Structural Maintenance and Integrated Transport blocks for the LTP2 period
- Proposed new Major Schemes to be submitted during the LTP2 period
The schemes and programmes in the top half of the table are those used in deriving the targets for the LTP2. This means that no new Major Scheme contribution has been taken into account in target setting.
We are working with the Government Office for the West Midlands and DfT to secure approval for the following Major Schemes in the near future:
- BIA / NEC Public Transport Links
- Chester Road (A452) Access Improvements
- Longbridge Strategic Park & Ride
- West Midlands UTC
- Walsall Town Centre Transport Package (full) and
- revisions to the approval for the Selly Oak Relief Road.
The Finance Forms that the DfT require to be submitted are appended to this LTP2. These provide a detailed financial breakdown of the proposed LTP2 programme that follows.
